Emergency Operations Center
The United for Families Administrative Office serves as the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during a disaster or pandemic. Official notices regarding a disaster/emergency/pandemic situation will emanate from the Emergency Operations Center. Notification to close and re-open the service centers will come from the Emergency Operations Center.
Emergency Hotline: 866.322.3535
When an emergency or natural disaster is threatening the area, the UFF Emergency Messaging System will be initiated. The Emergency Messaging System combines a toll-free hotline and voiceblast messaging to disseminate information about disasters/emergencies. The hotline provides updates on service center openings and closures, when to report for duty , and where emergency supplies may be obtained for foster parents, caregivers and clients. The hotline will be continuously updated before and after the disaster with important updates.
